Top Scorers in Europe 2017/2018 – All competition, PFA Player of the Year award Nominees & the Team of the Year
Good day Fans of Nigerian news vendor!
As you know, we always want to follow up as it is going. The Top Scorers in Europe is here for you to see where your favourite players stand. Proud or disappointed, there’s another room to say something - about the PFA player of the year award Nominees and the Starting XI. Let's do it together:
.
.
TOP SCORERS IN EUROPE IN ALL COMPETITIONS:
1. Cristiano Ronaldo [Real Madrid] 42 goals.
2. Mohamed Salah [Liverpool] 40 goals.
3. Lionel Messi [Barcelona] 39 goals.
4. Ciro Immobile [Lazio] 38 goals.
5. Harry Kane [Tottenham] 36 goals.
6. Robert Lewandowski [Bayer Munich] 36 goals.
7. Cavani [PSG] 35 goals.
8. Sergio Aguero [Man City] 30 goals.
9. Neymar [PSG] 29 goals.
.
– Ronaldo and Messi are well known for their class and dominance; but this season, we so think Mo Salah deserves some chance. He inspires us. He’s been creating records, and recently, he broke Didier Drogba's record of the only Africa player to have scored the highest number of goals in a Premier League season (29) with 30 goals now - 5 matches to spare. He is also the top contender for European Golden Shoe; yet, he is not a No. 9. We simply love him. Wow..... Africa is proud of him.

– [Smiling] They say Ronaldo is not in form, Ronaldo has declined, just look where he is
.
.
– If there's anything Neymar can kill, it will be the injury. See where he is and wonder what would have been if he wasn’t injured. Kane is fortunate to have returned with goals. We don’t trust him though, one match could be a surge for him. It’s not over. PSG has Cavani to thank, in the absence of Neymar. Over the years, he has been amazing. People don’t really sing his songs, but we do. We love him.
.
.
– Lewandowski as a goal machine playing in a goal industry [LOL]. We even think he slowed down, else he should have gotten hat-tricks from the recent Bayern scorelines. Immobile is the slow poison of them all. Lazio isn’t even in Serie A top 4, but he’s got the highest number of goals. How? We love him for that. # Ride_on

What can we take of this?
- Man City dominates with 5 players. They deserve to. No real words for them.
.
- De Gea deservingly is the only Man United, yet they are second on the log. No wonder Mourinho is disappointed with his team sometimes. He bemoans inconsistency.
.
- Chelsea got lucky to have someone, due to his early season heroics. They’ve really been below par this time around. Hazard disappoints. We always want more from him, he should be in the class of Salah at the moment, but no. And Kante wasn't there to intercept anyone in the midfield this time [Sad for the Champions]
.
- Not to mention Arsenal. No one. Really Sad. Maybe it would have been Sanchez by extension, but he is lost sometimes in Man United. We don’t see the Hero we knew in Arsenal.
.
- Tottenham is the King. 4th position, but 3 players after Man City. It shows consistency, what people like Mourinho cries for. We Love Tottenham.
.
- Then the last but not the least, Liverpool. Only one player, third position, but it’s enough. Mane nor Firmino can’t compete with Aguero or Kane. It is just good as it is. But mehn… all Hail the King – Mo Salah. He is the new big thing. No one saw it coming. We love the surprise package of Football most of the time. # Up_Reds !!!
