Recently I just discovered that my husband still communicate with his ex girlfriend to the extend that the girl tells my husband any misunderstanding she has with her husband to be. They talk on phone almost everyday. I called my husband and told him that it was not healthy to maintain a close relationship with one's ex esp with what transpired between them but he said that nothing can happen between them. and there is nothing wrong with being close to one's ex. PDP Senators condemn police raid on Ekweremadu’s guest house The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Senate Caucus Friday evening condemned in strong terms the police raid on Deputy Senate President, Senator Ike Ekweremadu’s guest house in Abuja. The police on Friday raided the National Assembly guest house in Abuja assigned to the use of the Deputy Senate President Senator Ekweremadu. The police was said to have claiming that a whistle blower tipped them off that Ekweremadu hid arms and money in the property. At the end of the two hour programme, the Governor left me pondering over some issues he raised. In an attempt to get clarification, I tried to call but didn't get through. The Benue State University Teaching Hospital Makurdi, Benue State has today 25th May 2017 embarked on an indefinite strike owing to the non payment of salaries by the state government. A statement by the union which states that staff of the hospital won’t resume work or shouldn’t be seen on the premises of the hospital until outstanding salaries are being cleared by the state government. PDP:Supreme court okays Makarfi to challenge Sheriff. The Supreme Court has dismissed an application filed by the national chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, Ali-Modu Sheriff, asking the court not to hear a motion by his challenger, Ahmed Makarfi. Alh. Sheriff had asked the court to refuse hearing on the application filed by alh. Makarfi, challenging the February 17 judgement of the Appeal Court in Port Harcourt which made alh Sheriff leader of the PDP. At the opening of the hearing today alh. JAMB Releases 2017 UTME Results For Second Batch The Joint admission and Matriculation board ( JAMB) has released the second batch UTME result 2017 for candidates that wrote the examination on the second day Monday 15 May 2017. Below is a screenshot of a candidate that wrote the UTME examination on Monday 15, 2017. JAMB’s Spokesperson, Dr. Fabian Benjamin confirms this in a phone chat with Education Nigeria that the board usually releases the result of each of the examination day within 24 hours. He also added that JAMB has released the result of 742,406 candidates that participated in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) on day 1 Saturday 13, 2017. The 2017 UTME result is been uploaded batch by batch, depending on which time schedule a candidate write the test. Therefore, any candidate who has not seen his/her UTME result 2017 should exercise patient and ensure to recheck his/her result within 24 hrs from the time of writing the examination.

The Main Issue of the strike is that BSU lecturers are not pensionable, and this they've been fighting for many years. From Today's meeting with the representatives of the state government, the Asuu congress made it clear that until the pension scheme is implemented the strike will continue even if it lasts for a year.

BSU STRIKE.... Where we are now. A meeting between government committee and ASUU/NASUU was held yesterday in a bid to resolve the current strike embarked upon by the two unions of the university. However, a source in the university that prefers to remain anonymous revealed that the meeting ended in a deadlock and will possibly not yield positive results should government not shift grounds from mere appeals. Recall that shortly after ASUU shotdown the school, the state government swiftly put together an ad-hoc committee to negotiate with the boycotting BSU staff to resume work while their issues are being looked into. We are made to understand that all verbal pleas were rejected with outright vehemence from the striking bodies citing obvious reasons of negligence and insensitivity on the part of government.
