HOW CONSTITUENCY ALLOWANCES WERE SIPHONED IN BENUE SOUTH

USE THE THE MONEY FOR THE PEOPLE. BY Echekwu Sunday
In four years past, I had a post shared.
Today, the synergy hummers, candidatures we rallied for and fought ain't a slight different; I think, they didn't flock together, the former were and are in the front when it comes to propaganda fulfilments and how constituency allowances were siphoned.
Are we surprised ? Of course no.
2023 is fast approaching, some of the principals are at it again, never tired of singing same lullaby to us even when it seems plainly that our eyes are caught up due to their lacks and slacks in project accomplishment and our memorandum of understanding toyed with.
Gentle reminder please, before you sells your principal to the public how good and effective he or she was or is, be reminded that, some of the electorates will stop at no point than to politely asks you for the blueprints and finger-pointing to an achievement.
I know you maybe tempted to hold such fellow as an antagonist which doesn't really matter at all.
We're tired of political parties, honestly, we are.
WAY FORWARD OUT THIS MIRAGE
Year in and out, we complained about the unfair treatment gotten from the people that came begging for powers. Indeed power corrupt absolute absolute power corrupt absolutely. Never being who they were.
Bitter truth is, the problem we have in general is not about the final electorates but the so called "DELEGATES" they are always there to selects and elects a candidate ( God knows–candidate) for us because they have been paid off.
Imaging this, two incompetent candidates are presented to to choose one ( how does that even work? Very funny though) their results are the same. In each of the political parties we have, there are good candidates who have the leadership culture to pilot the affair but no, our delegates will also bring option that's not even option at all.
Please, if your principal failed in any of terms spent so far, don't come and poise the heart of people on how he'll do better when elected next.
NEXT TERM SEEMS ALIKE "NEVER END".
CONSTITUENCIES monies should be used for the people not for a selected party members, burial of associates, wedding of cos. personal aggrandizement.
OUR PROBLEMS STARTED FROM THE DELEGATES. NO SCRUTINY BECAUSE MONEY IS INVOLVED. THERE IS NO WAY FORWARD, THAT'S WHY WE KEEPS HAVING ROLLERCOASTER ADMINISTRATIONS STARTED FROM THE POLITICS AT THE GRASS ROOTS TO THE GRASS ROOF.
HAPPY NEW MONTH.

Cashless policy: Reps, CBN agree no time limit for old naira notes 31/01/2023

Published by   ECHEKWU SUNDAY  JNR @  EKUM BLOG  The House of Representatives and the Central Bank of Nigeria have agreed that a time limit will no longer apply to the validity of old naira notes after the expiration of the February 10 deadline set by the apex bank. This means that the face value of the old N1000, N500 and N200 notes will continue to be redeemable in compliance with Section 20 (3) of the CBN Establishment Act. Banks will continue to mop up the notes after they cease to be legal tender on February 10 without a time limit. The CBN Governor, Mr Godwin Emefiele, was directed to submit a weekly report on releases of the new notes to commercial banks so that the House could verify claims by the CEOs of the banks that the apex bank had not been releasing enough cash to them. The CBN was also directed to restore over-the-counter transactions by the banks and increase Automated Teller Machine (ATM) cash withdrawal limits in order to fast-track the circulation of the new no
